    The crater at your feet

    Entamanu is an intimate camp comprising just nine tents, overlooking the famous Ngorongoro Crater – a sanctuary unlike any other in the world, set within a caldera of spectacular proportions and home to nearly 25,000 animals. The camp has been designed with the utmost respect for its natural surroundings; it is fully demountable, solar-powered, and has been decorated exclusively with objects and fabrics sourced from Maasai communities. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfectly complementing the extraordinary views that unfold before your eyes, changing with the time of day and the weather. You’ll also appreciate the cool, high-altitude air, which helps the warrior sleep soundly! Children aged 8 and over are welcome.

    Entamanu is the only small, boutique lodge that offers direct, plunging views over the crater. This is by far an extraordinary advantage, but it is not the only one; the Nomad group designed its lodge with respect for the natural site and communities, and you will be struck by the very tasteful Maasai decoration and the quality and kindness of all their staff.

    Nomad, in addition to designing eco-lodges, supports numerous projects through its trust for animal conservation and sharing the adventure with local communities. Thus, Nomad provides direct employment (guides, cooking, housekeeping, laundry...) and indirect employment (decor, craftspeople, farmers...), successfully combining community involvement with the company's success.
