Elewana Tarangire Treetops

In the canopy

Tarangire Treetops is an enchanting lodge centred around the main lodge, which conceals within it a gigantic baobab tree of nearly 1,000 years old, housing a colony of small bats in its hollow trunk. Each of the 20 rooms is located several metres above the ground, designed in an arc around equally impressive baobabs and offering a unique view of the surrounding unspoilt nature from their suspended terrace. In the immediate vicinity of the national park, the lodge is ideally situated to enjoy the park in complete serenity from the first light of dawn. After dinner, if you wish, you will be offered a genuine night safari to observe the elusive species that only come out at night.
