    It was in April 2025 that Natural Collection further expanded its collection of luxury safari camps with the launch of Mbamba. Located in a private concession to the north of the Okavango Delta, this exclusive camp offers 12 luxury tents, including 2 splendid family units, nestled beneath a magnificent canopy of leadwood trees. One can recognise the original inspiration that Ralph Bousfield breathed into the famous Jack's Camp, a vintage safari style combining timeless elegance and authentic adventure in shades of flamboyant red... The camp offers an incredible immersion in a region teeming with wildlife, with frequent sightings of predators, notably lions and wild dogs. Guests will enjoy land safaris in 4x4s, water-based excursions in mokoros and flat-bottomed boats, and a lovely swimming pool to cool off during the heat of the day.     THE EXTRAORDINARY

    The design of the camp alone is well worth the detour, the magic works, you no longer know what year it is, you no longer feel like reading emails, you open yourself up entirely to the elements surrounding you... And you then discover an intense animal life, as the camp is located in a region where predators are particularly active (especially large prides of lions and fine packs of wild dogs), and where birds find refuge in numbers (over 350 species).

    ETHICS

    The camp takes every possible measure to minimise its impact on the environment and is powered entirely by solar energy. But beyond these environmental precautions, Mbamba is involved in the Elephant Express project, which supports community grazing schemes on the edge of the concession, helping to minimise human-wildlife conflict in this crucial wildlife corridor. The camp is also involved in the CLAWS project, which aims to fit lions with collars and prevent unfortunate encounters with local communities’ livestock.
