    Jani, an exceptional lagoon

    Soneva Jani has established itself on the Noonu Atoll, in the heart of a vast, breathtakingly beautiful lagoon, the Medhufaru Lagoon. Jani comprises 25 overwater villas, accessed via a magnificent snake-like jetty, with the "head" accommodating multi-bedroom villas. At the centre of the meandering jetty, the main module has been erected, housing the arrival jetty, dive centre, marine biology centre, kids" club, main restaurant, observatory, and boutiques – the resort's nerve centre. However, Jani also extends to its island, shaped like a spearhead, where you'll find the very latest beach villas, or "reserves," capable of hosting large families, the Japanese restaurant facing the open-air cinema, the crab shack where you can savour succulent shellfish, the spa, the tennis court... Most of the stilted villas are equipped with a waterslide starting from the roof terrace, landing you directly into the lagoon, an added bonus for families who will also appreciate the So Guilty chocolate shop and the So Cool ice cream bar, open throughout the day for snacks.
