CARAVAN BY HABITAS AGAFAY

Agafay Habitats

BERBER IMMERSION

It is in the heart of the Agafay Desert, just a 40-minute drive from downtown Marrakech, that the hotel group Habitats has chosen to set up its second nomadic camp on the African continent. Caravan Agafay is an immersive off-the-beaten-track experience, a sanctuary hidden among the rocky dunes, where panoramic views of the lunar landscape and the Atlas Mountains transport the mind to distant worlds. The camp offers 20 luxury tents and 20 lodges, tastefully appointed with artisan design inspired by local culture and the surrounding nature. Caravan Agafay embodies the spirit of exploration, discovery and freedom. Here, time stands still to make way for local traditions through activities that reflect the rich history and customs of the Moroccan people. Guests will have the opportunity to discover the ancestral tradition of the Moroccan tea ceremony at sunset, ride camels across the dunes or visit a Berber home in the Atlas Mountains. On the culinary front, the Olivar restaurant explores the rich and diverse flavours of Morocco, drawing inspiration from Moroccan culinary influences and numerous traditions.
