Lolebezi

WINDOW ON THE ZAMBEZI

Lower Zambezi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is home to an exceptional treasure trove of biodiversity and unfolds breathtaking scenes of wildlife. Set on a protected five-hectare estate facing the majestic Zambezi River, Lolebezi is the newest addition to the African Bush Camps family. The lodge offers the exclusivity of a one-kilometre stretch along the riverbanks, promising unparalleled privacy in the heart of Zambia. Lolebezi boasts a resolutely contemporary style that blends skilfully into the landscape, using primarily recycled natural materials to reduce the lodge's environmental footprint. The six suites are luxuriously appointed with wood, beads, weaving and leather, and decorated in tangy green tones that echo nature. Each room offers its own private plunge pool with views of the river and its abundant wildlife. Under the thatched roof of the spacious main area, you can enjoy a larger swimming pool, again facing the Zambezi, and share moments of pure conviviality over a delicious dinner. Your days at Lolebezi will be punctuated by game drives, walking safaris or boat cruises, giving you the chance to get close to Africa's magnificent wildlife accompanied by experienced guides. Upon your return from a safari, treat yourself to a relaxing break at the spa or opt for a revitalising yoga session on the wooden deck, in total communion with nature.

ETHICS

The African Bush Camps group worked to minimise the environmental impact of the Lolebezi lodge right from its design stage, opting for a majority of natural (thatch, reed, canvas, mahogany, etc.) and recycled materials, equipping the camp with solar panels, and implementing economic and reasoned management of water and waste. The lodge also supports various community projects in the fields of education, healthcare and female entrepreneurship.
