PEMBA, THE UNPRETENTIOUS BEAUTY

Fundu Lagoon is a charming lodge, located on Pemba Island, a short distance north-east of the legendary spice island of Zanzibar. 18 superb exotic wooden stilt bungalows with thatched roofs create an authentic and exotic atmosphere, enhanced by large four-poster beds with mosquito nets swaying in the sea breeze. Fundu Lagoon is set along a splendid lagoon in the south-west of Pemba Island. It is a privileged spot for anyone wishing to enjoy the region's tropical beauty. Situated 50 km north of the world-famous island of Zanzibar, it is a green island where everything grows in abundance: cloves, coconut palms, paddy fields, banana trees... Set amidst lush vegetation, the lodge and its charming chic ethnic bungalows are strung out along the beach facing the Indian Ocean. The desire to enjoy the gentle lifestyle of Fundu is irresistible: 1 infinity pool, 3 bars, 1 restaurant, 1 spa and the ocean at your feet. And for the more adventurous: scuba diving in the Pemba Channel, tuna fishing aboard the lodge's catamaran, canoeing in the mangrove, and excursions into the Ngezi forest.
