    Sasaab, Eastern reverie

    Sasaab is a dream lodge born from the fertile imagination of its owners. They have succeeded in creating a fantastic Arabian Nights atmosphere, inspired by Moroccan architecture and sprinkled with references to Swahili culture. Nine proud cottages line the hillside overlooking the river, open to Mother Nature and offering a delightful natural breeze alongside a lively landscape. Elephants frequently make an appearance in the river and, if your eyesight is sharp, you might also spot the «Samburu Special Five»: the Beisa oryx, the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, the gerenuk antelope and the Somali ostrich—perhaps even from your own private plunge pool. If you are out of luck, you can catch up on a game drive in a 4x4, on foot or even on camelback, as the lodge offers a range of activities to match the opulence of its interior design choices. One final option is available to the more adventurous: an unforgettable night of fly camping to discover the nocturnal animal kingdom...
