    Singita Boulders Lodge is the ultimate in sophistication in South Africa, featuring 12 magnificent suites decorated in a colonial style with subtle references to nature. It is also an opportunity to discover the Kruger National Park from Singita’s private reserve in the heart of the famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve, known for its prolific wildlife. Millions of years ago, underground lava torrents created a basalt dyke running through the Sabi Sand reserve from north to south. It is on the slopes of the rocky hills, vestiges of this eventful past, that Singita Boulders Lodge is nestled today. Boulders welcomes its guests into 12 extremely luxurious suites with private plunge pools and sweeping views of the Sand River. Inspired by the colonies, the suites utilise natural materials and colours to create a sense of harmonious well-being with nature. The diversity of habitats in the Sabi Sand reserve, ranging from bushveld and gnarled acacia trees to vast open plains and steep rocky outcrops, provides the best conditions for viewing the Big Five, far from the hustle and bustle of the Kruger National Park.

    ETHICS

    Singita has been owned by the Bailes family since 1925, acquired through two farms. It wasn't until 1994 that the Bailes family decided to open Singita to a handful of discerning visitors open to sustainable and responsible tourism. 18,500 hectares of nature are thus intelligently preserved with the cooperation of local communities.
