The Paul Gauguin

The wonders of Polynesia in complete elegance

An elegant 5-star ship, the Paul Gauguin was specially designed to navigate Polynesian waters. Its shallow draught allows it to get as close as possible to shallow lagoons and isolated islands for an optimal stopover time. A true bubble of comfort and elegance, the ship offers its passengers a warm, timeless atmosphere. All 166 of its cabins and suites boast outside views and are tastefully decorated. The majority of them feature balconies or verandas. Fine materials such as precious woods, antique engravings and tikis pay tribute to Polynesian culture and contribute to the gentle way of life on board, which makes every journey unique. Jean-Pierre Vigato, a Michelin-starred chef, is in charge of the cuisine on board. Every day, he enhances quality ingredients to prepare menus worthy of the finest establishments: typical flavours and French tradition combine to delight the taste buds. At the Algotherm Spa, travellers will enjoy a wide choice of treatments and massages using marine cosmetics; whilst with its water blending into the surrounding panoramas, the swimming pool is ideal for a moment of relaxation in the sun. After a gourmet dinner preceded by a magnificent sunset, let yourself be hypnotised by the Gauguins and Gauguin's, Polynesian flight attendants, to the rhythm of their traditional dances and the sound of their drums and ukuleles. If you are feeling in a dancing mood, extend your evening at La Palette, the open-air lounge bar and nightclub, guaranteeing a warm and relaxed atmosphere!
