Quinta da Comporta

Quinta da Comporta

A WELLNESS BOUTIQUE RESORT

Nestled in the heart of Comporta's bucolic landscapes and designed by the renowned Portuguese architect Miguel Câncio Martins, Quinta da Comporta pays a vibrant tribute to the region's cultural heritage. The hotel places a strong emphasis on wellbeing and rejuvenation, offering coached programmes and yoga and meditation retreats for those wishing to reconnect with themselves and nature. Enjoy an authentic immersion in Comporta through the Quinta's 73 rooms, suites and villas, whose whitewashed walls, rustic-chic look and natural tones perfectly illustrate traditional Portuguese style. Hop aboard the hotel shuttle to reach Carvalhal beach, renowned for its white sand, or enjoy the privacy of your villa with its private pool. At Oryza Spa, treatments are inspired by the benefits of rice, a traditionally farmed plant in Comporta, the paddy fields of which peacefully surround the Quinta and its outdoor pool. The local terroir also comes into its own at the hotel restaurant, where the Chef uses fresh, mostly organic and seasonal ingredients to offer guests Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary twist.

ETHICS

Quinta da Comporta wishes to help preserve the exceptional environment of Comporta, which blends nature and local traditions. The hotel is the result of the refurbishment of pre-existing structures and is built using local materials. It is equipped with solar panels, reuses its grey water to irrigate its gardens, and prioritises local and seasonal produce in the restaurant. To get around the property, bicycles and electric buggies are available for guests.
